Procedures

Pass procedure: Any student entering the Learning Commons during a class period must have a pass from his or her subject teacher.

K Block passes may be obtained from your subject teacher for a specific assignment. Teacher should indicate what the student's assignment is on the pass. Student may be asked to show the assignment to us upon entering the Learning Commons.

Blue lunch passes must be obtained from Mrs. Freeman outside the cafeteria during your lunch. Just a reminder that no food or drink is to be brought into the Learning Commons from the cafeteria.

If you need to leave the Learning Commons for any reason, please sign out at the circulation desk and take a pass.

Computer and Internet Use: All students are welcome to use the computers, providing they have a signed Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) on file, and the computer is being used for academic purposes only. Computers in the Learning Commons are monitored and inappropriate use will not be tolerated. Priority will always go to classes that have reserved computer time in advance.

Circulation Policies: Check out period for books is 3 weeks,  and they may be renewed if needed. DVDs  and magazines go out for 1 week. There are no fines for overdue materials but we encourage you to return your items on time as others may be waiting for them. Materials returned after hours may be left in the book drop.
